1) Where are BMC Guitars made?
All BMC Guitars are built in Greece.
2) For how long have you been building guitars?
The First BMC Guitar was build in 2013
3) Are you a manufacturing company?
No, we are a guitar building workshop. We operate as boutique builders, but we also use manufacturing style equipment like CNC machines. The purpose is to create high quality guitars under the boutique style operation. We aim on quality rather than quantity and we appreciate the result coming from the use of manufacturing technologies combined with the boutique Luthier techniques.
4) Do you receive custom orders?
The short answer is Yes. We try to operate within limits that have proven to work well. For this reason we have created the Luthier's Choice Suggestions. In any case, before accepting custom orders we discuss the client needs for customization, in order to see if this would lead to a good sounding instrument.
5) From where can we buy BMC Guitars ?
BMC Guitars are available directly to you from our workshop. (E-shop coming soon)
6) Are all Luthier Choice tonewoods available in Stock ?
Yes, we have a great tonewood library that keeps getting bigger. Woods are our raw material and we need them to be in great condition and within specific limits of humidity. We hand select each piece and we store it for at least 2 years before any cutting operation.
7) Are the Luthier Choices the only options I have?
No. The Luthier choices is how we suggest you order your guitar. If you have something else in mind, send as a request using the contact form below and we will answer you as soon as possible.
8) Do you build only the BMC Neck shapes?
We feel that you can't go wrong with the BMC neck shapes. But if you really want a specific neck design we can build a guitar with it as long as you provide the information needed.
